Anchorians made the short journey to play fellow mid-table side Aylesford Bulls on a sunny winter’s afternoon.

On a cold and dark, but dry November day, Anchs welcomed Old Dunstonians (“ODs”) to Darland Avenue hoping to return to winning ways in London SE 3. Anchs certainly started well, moving the ball to the wings but were playing the game in their own half. Against the run of play, the visitors opened the scoring with some neat inter-passing down the left wing, finished with a try in the corner. On a day where kicking would prove decisive the conversion was missed.
Anchs travelled to Bromley, just across the road from their recent away win against Park House, to face a Bromley side sitting above them in the league. Unfortunately, the persistent rain hampered both sides’ attempts to play an open game and the number of scoring opportunities were limited.
Vigo were the visitors to Darland Avenue on a wet and windy Saturday afternoon. Anchs took to the field in their new Brimstone Site Investigation (UXO) sponsored jerseys but the conditions, and a very competitive opposition, meant that things did not go their way from the start.
Anchs returned to Darland Avenue looking to bounce back from their heavy defeat away to Folkestone the previous week. Pulborough were the visitors and what transpired was a very entertaining and high scoring match.
Anchorians travelled to Folkestone with a number of changes to the side which had started the season so well. However, they came up against a strong home side who played particularly well and as a result suffered their heaviest defeat for some time.
