One of the difficult things for all clubs this year is the loss of past players / members without being able to properly commemorate them as a club. We’ve seen four people leave us this last year during lockdowns: older members and club loyals Ken Fisher, John Hancock, and Arthur Scudder. We also keenly remember Connor Russon who played with us only last season and had returned to his old club and our good friends at Sheppey RFC this year… he left far too soon. It was good to raise a socially distanced glass on the pitch after training on Tuesday to all those, and we hope very much that we can commemorate properly once we move to more normal times.
